In the center of Rome, a near the Fori Imperiali and the Colosseum, Bici & Baci dedicates a space to the legend of the Vespa and the Lambretta in Italy.
Opened in the year of the 60th anniversary of the movie Vacanze Romane, this space hosts some legendary Vespa models, including the first body produced by Piaggio.
This permanent exhibition of original specimens, born from an idea by Claudio Sarra, founder and CEO of Bici & Baci, is an act of love for Rome and for the Vespa, a place where you can discover the Vespa revolution from 1946 to today and this scooter has influenced Italian culture in the last 70 years. Visiting the Museum, it will be possible to understand the multiple uses of this timeless legend. From the Vespa in the myth of American cinema with the famous Vespa Faro Basso of Vacanze Romane to those used to compete, like the model of the legendary Roberto Leardi driver who donated to the Museum along with his racing suit. Or the Vespa donated by Andy Leeano used to reach Rome from Indonesia, a journey across two continents aboard the legendary two-wheels.
