Discover Rome and its beautiful squares, historical monuments and famous fountains on this 2 and a half hours walking tour. Let yourself be enchanted by the Eternal City and its most famous places, such as the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. During this walk through the cobbled streets, you can take a journey through time and admire the evolution of Roman art and architecture in the various centuries of history. Your tour will start from Vicolo del Bottino, right next to the famous Piazza di Spagna, from where we will go upstairs becoming absorbed in its lively atmosphere and its unique panoramic viewpoint. We will walk through the narrow streets of the historical center reaching the majestic Trevi Fountain. It is said that by throwing a coin into the water you promise to return to Rome, but there are also other myths related to its waters. We will continue our journey through time reaching Piazza di Pietra, where you will see the ruins of the Temple of Hadrian. This temple was built by Antoninus Pius in 145 AD. in honor of Emperor Hadrian who was deified after his death. Leaving the ruins of this temple, we will head towards another great temple, still perfectly intact today: the Pantheon. This temple was dedicated to all past, present and future divinities and after the advent of Christianity that saw the destruction of all Pagan temples, this building managed to survive thanks to its majesty and beauty to be then transformed into a Christian cathedral. From here we will reach the nearby Piazza Navona, where you can admire the famous Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi designed by Bernini with the triumph of its elaborated center. Our tour will finish here.
