Ancient Rome was build on seven hills. For this reason, a thorough visit to Rome should take in at least a few of those summits, such as the Capitoline, the Quirinal and the Aventine. From up there, you can feast your eyes on some of the finest panoramic views of the city.
We will make our way across the city centre, and once we reach the tops of the hills you will recognise the cupolas, roofs and major sights as you’ve never seen them before – from above.
You will have your breath taken away by the incredible views across the whole city, and you can take as many great photographs as your memory card will allow, all embellished by the amber light for which the Eternal City is rightly celebrated.
Some of the places that you will visit are bathed in a calm, magical atmosphere that really helps to make this tour all the more unique.
The itinerary contains numerous climbs: to make the most of it, you will need to be ready, willing and able to take on these ascents by pedal power alone.
